Continuous Improvement + Artificial Intelligence

Free assessment. You pay from savings we verify, or a fixed day rate.

What it is: Continuous improvement plus AI for manufacturers, starting with a free current-state assessment.Who it's for: Owners, site and operations managers in NZ and Australian manufacturing. What you get: Free assessment with estimated ROI and payback; savings verified against an agreed baseline before any fee is paid.

CI-AI Fusion Ltd helps New Zealand and Australian manufacturers take labour, giveaway, scrap and downtime out of their lines. The method is built to lock the change: written standards, named owners and audits. We start with one line, lock it, then move to the next.

The assessment is always free and never invoiced, for the first line and every line after. Fees apply only if you accept a change proposal.

Who it's for

Built for NZ and Australian manufacturers

For operations, site, CI and production leaders running people-heavy processes, where labour hours, giveaway, scrap or OEE show up in the P&L.

Changeovers

SKU, format and pack-size changeovers that take too long and lose product while the line restarts.

Packing & giveaway

Packs running over target weight on a generic packing line, and labour-heavy packing stations.

Yield, scrap & QC holds

Rework loops, QC holds and waste that nobody owns end to end.

Handoffs

Sanitation-to-production and shift-to-shift handoffs where time leaks out.

Probably not a fit: R&D innovation days, or a capex-only automation project with no people process to improve.

How it works

Assess, propose, lock, then the next line

One opportunity at a time, owned by your people and measured against a baseline you agree with.

01
Always free

Assess

We walk the process with your team, map the waste and friction, and leave you an opportunity map that is sized and ranked. It is never invoiced.

02
You decide

Propose

We put forward a change proposal for one opportunity with a baseline we can measure. If you don't accept it, you owe nothing.

03
With your owners

Lock

We make the change with your shift leads and write the standard into daily work. It counts once it holds against baseline for about 3 months.

04
Repeat

Next line

While we're on site we look for the next opportunity. That assessment is free too. Then we start again on the next line.

What "locked and sustainable" means

If it doesn't lock, it doesn't settle.

  1. A written standard is in use on the line, not sitting in a binder.
  2. Named owners on your team run it, not a visiting hero.
  3. Performance holds against the agreed baseline for about 3 months, with a simple audit trail.
Pricing

Free to start. Fees apply only after you accept a change proposal.

Commercial terms are offered only after you accept a change proposal. Until then, there is nothing to pay.

Default Path A

Gain-share

~30% of verified annualised savings, settled after ~3 months with standards locked

~30% of verified annualised savings, plus GST

No fee for the change work.

  • Settled only after about 3 months on track
  • Standards must be locked and sustainable
  • Savings verified against an agreed baseline
  • Next opportunity assessed free while on site
Path B

Day rate + reduced share

NZD 1,400 / day + GST (15%)

Half day NZD 800 + GST (15%)

Plus a reduced share of about 10% of verified annualised savings, plus GST.

  • Days agreed up front
  • Fee-for-time certainty
  • Suits a short runway or a less defined scope
The fine print, in plain words. The Path A share and Path B fees are plus GST (15%). The exact share percentage and the savings verification formula are agreed in the proposal, and savings are verified against an agreed baseline before any fee is paid. The figures above are indicative, and nothing is charged before you accept a change proposal.

Change managementContinuous improvementLeanSix SigmaCost-outMentoringStandardised work
  • Standardised, sustainable change. Improvement is written into the standard and owned by your team, so it doesn't fade when the consultant leaves.
  • Mentoring, not dependency. Your shift leads and CI people build the habit and keep it running.
  • Paid on results by default. Under Path A the fee depends on savings verified against an agreed baseline before any fee is paid.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Is the current-state assessment really free?

Yes. Every assessment is free, for the first line and every line after. We never invoice the walk, the assessment or the opportunity map. There's no "first one free, then paid".

When do I start paying?

Only after you accept a change proposal. Under Path A you pay a share of verified annualised savings once the change has held for about 3 months. Under Path B you pay the agreed days at NZD 1,400 a day (or NZD 800 for a half day), plus a reduced share of about 10%. Both paths are plus GST (15%).

Do I have to accept a proposal after the assessment?

No. The opportunity map is yours to keep and use however you like.

How are savings verified?

Against a baseline we agree with you before the change starts. The saving counts once the standard is in use, owned by named people, and holding for about 3 months with an audit trail. The exact verification formula is agreed in the proposal.

What are the exact percentages and how is GST handled?

The ~30% (Path A) and ~10% (Path B) shares are indicative. The exact share and the verification formula are agreed in the proposal before any work starts. The Path A share and the Path B fees (NZD 1,400 a day, half day NZD 800) are plus GST (15%).

Path A or Path B: which should I choose?

Path A is the default. There's no fee for the change work, and you pay only from savings verified against an agreed baseline. Path B suits sites that want fee-for-time certainty, have a shorter runway or a less defined scope.

Do you work outside New Zealand?

Yes. We work with manufacturers in New Zealand and Australia.

What is the Line Loss Finder and can I get a refund?

It's a NZD 49 online self-check. You answer 15 questions about one line and get an instant one-page report. If it isn't useful, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund. See the refund policy.

How we deliver ROI that sticks

Every tool, coaching session and project follows the same four steps, so gains are measured against an agreed baseline and written into standard work.

  1. 1. Find the lossMeasure where time, material and money go, in dollars a year.
  2. 2. Fix itRoot cause and one small win first, then the bigger change, with your team.
  3. 3. Lock the standardWritten standard work, a named owner and a simple routine audit.
  4. 4. Measure the ROISavings verified against the baseline and held for 3 months before any gain-share is paid.
